MVA with entrapment in Lima

On Sunday night, March 31, 2013, Lima Fire and EMS responded to an MVA with entrapment on Route 15A south of the village. A vehicle struck a utility pole, bringing live wires down. Workers from National Grid disconnected the power, allowing firefighters to safely extricate the driver from the wreckage. Mercy Flight Central transported the dirver to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. The cause of the crash was under investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Police.
